Rural Life, Current Issues and Agricultural College

Hi and welcome to Ask Aunt Annie! I’m Anna and I am an agricultural graduate currently living and working as a consultant in the Wild West of Wales.

This blog started as an agony aunt column for the Royal Agricultural College’s student newsletter. Since December 2014 it has turned into a site to post humorous lists, tongue-in-cheek advice and more serious pieces about rural issues and student problems.

Over the winter I write a hunting diary about the escapades of my ex- racehorse Silver Blue and our attempts to hunt side- saddle and keep up with local thrusters.

My work has been featured in Farmers WeeklyStudent Farmer and shared by Horse & Hound: Hunting. In the past I have carried out work experience at Horse & Hound (where I created some digital content) and at local newspapers in Carmarthenshire and Gloucestershire. As a student I wrote a regular column in Three Counties Farmer magazine. I am available for freelance work.

I am represented by Handpicked Media.

Please have a look around and enjoy :-)
